Nengi converted the TS3 shop awning for TS2. I'm working on expanding that into a set. When checking out my recolors in game, I noticed this:

The orange outline shows extra bits of the texture. I tried playing with the alpha and the original texture a bit, that didn't really help. I changed the alpha a bit for the tattered edge- that little line didn't go away. It's on all the recolors I did. (It's in the original texture, too.)
The red outline shows something that I think is mesh related- a bit of grey showing through. I didn't notice anything in MilkShape though.

These 2 things aren't that big of a deal- they most likely bother me more than they would anyone else. The little line of texture isn't always noticable- if you look at the pink checked recolor, it's not seen. Still, any ideas how to get rid of it? And the grey spot? Thanks. :)

No clue? I'm a bit nitpicky, I admit it. If this little line can't be gotten rid of, so be it. The set will still get finished and I'll have to learn to live with that little extra bit of texture. (That would probably bug only me.)

I would guess it's off by 1 pixel. I've not looked at that mesh but try exporting the mesh and looking at in in UvMapper Pro - free trial lets you preview just not export anything.

Thanks, HL. I'll try that sometime tonight. Silly questions- will it be obvious to me that it's off like you said? If so, will it be easy to fix in MilkShape or some other way? (I say silly questions because I haven't tried looking at it that way yet and it may very well be obvious. :) )

It might be obvious, depends on how observant you are. :) Milkshape would work as well, and might even be easier to see than UvMapper. Plus you can tweak your texture and continue previewing in either MS or UvMapper.

You wouldn't believe how long I've previously played with this trying to get rid of that little line. The mesh is kind of weird to me. If it's moved/scaled, the little line just might go away depending on where it's moved to. But then the scallops show up on the very top of it. I even tried taking the mesh apart to map each part of the outside mesh separately. I was actually starting to get somewhere before I ran into a snag and gave up on it. I'm going to give playing with the texture another shot since I can move it one pixel in any direction.
