Hi I made a really big (and imo nice) house that I saved for future plays but now when I use it in another game it seems very laggy when moving around the lot. This is after giving the game some time on the lot to render.

It's a 60x60 mansion filled with activities, rooms, decor and hundreds of edits. Is there a tool out there that could maybe take a 'snapshot' of the final mansion and cleanout all the extra/unneccessary steps I took to get there?
Or is there something I can do to optimize the house? I started a new game last night and everything is fine until I ge to the lot, lots of white walls/objects and stutters for a good 10-15 secs

It may not be the house but your game is lagging and you're just noticing it more with the house because the house is big and has a lot of objects to be rendered. Try running Delphy's Dashboard to see if have any bad, duplicate or conflicting cc for a start. Also, have you recently added a lot of new cc --you may be taxing your system (or not) --I have no idea what your system is like but too much cc is known to cause lag. You can find Dashboard here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=387006

You could also try exporting the lot and running it through Delphy's Custard to see if maybe when you saved to the library (I'm assuming you did that to play it in another game.) it carried along a bunch of stow away cc as well as the stuff you intended to be on the lot. You can find CUSTARD here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=390235

If you find additional stuff attached to the lot you can clean it out with CUSTARD by saving the house file without the cc that shouldn't be in it and then load the cleaned lot file (sims3pack) back into your game.

Good luck.

I think that might be it, this was the first house that I decided to keep and alot of the furniture is CC (ugh)
I'll try those two apps, they look like they'll do the trick, thanks
