It's coming out tomorrow, anyone else uber-excited?
I plan to go to the midnight release in my town tonight. Luckily there's not very many people in this town so I -should- be able to get a copy pretty quickly. ;3
I've been stoked all this past weekend. I plan to play for quite a while once I get it.

Ahhh the joys of shared world-wide release dates.
It is already out in Australia - bless you international time lines. :P
Anyway thanks to press access I was in the beta the minute it started and played multi non-stop over that time. For a person who wasn't as enthused with the original as everyone else I just could not tear myself away from the game. Even with the ludicrous number of hours I put in, when the beta shut down it still left a hole in my gaming heart.
Can't wait until lunch so I can swoop in and pick up my copy. Too old for last night's midnight launch. :P

It seems to have EXTREMELY good life-like graphics... I'm not too excited though, I might get it... I'm a girl so I'm not really in to stuff like that... It does sound interesting though!

That would be the cinematic cut-scenes.
The art design is excellent in game but not what one would call lifelike. Very stylised.
*edit*
I stand corrected. Many of the sequences in the most recent trailers are using the game engine and are not pre-rendered.
And now... back to the game. :P

C'mon folks it's now out. Where is the slavering praise? :P
Yeah, I love it. ;)

Heh, today was the first day I actually got to play. We got our internet shut off while I was at the game store. :P
My computer is under the minimum requirements, but the game still runs fairly well. I've only completed the Mar Sara missions, but so far I'm in love with the game. It's got so much in common with the original, yet it feels completely different... perhaps because I've actually been able to complete a mission. :P

Well, it's #1 at many game sites. Sorry, but I have a bad memory of playing Starcraft + Brood Wars. I was playing and then my PC shut off for no reason. It was hard drive failure. Maybe now is a good time to end this unfair mentality of Starcraft breaking my system.

I'm enjoying it immensely. I also picked up the SE, so I could get a copy of the artbook, and the original game and expansion.
Some of the decisions are quite tough (such as one involving a certain Ghost who's game I was closely waiting for years ago).

Just finished the Hanson storyline. I love how it never explains whether or not she developed the cure. :P

Kerrigan (I assume that was who you were talking about) wasn't the focus of Ghost but a new character called Nova.
Unless of course you weren't referring to Kerrigan at all and I'm just not that far into the campaign. :P

We need a spoiler function on this board. :P
I hope that answers your question.
(If not, it wasn't Kerrigan.)

Yeah, I went with the Protess route (I didn't really like Hanson). If you do it that way, it ends quite poorly for her.

Just wondering... has anyone else noticed how much more powerful the Terrans seem to be now? I've been playing 2v2s with a friend of mine against the AI, and it seems like the Terrans just dominate.

They are certainly better than in SC1 but I wouldn't say they dominate - you just need to change your approach for the new terran strategies that are coming into play.
MINOR SPOILER WARNING
I stand corrected regarding my comments about Starcraft Ghost's relation to Starcraft II. Nova is present in this game.
