I'm sure there might be a thread already on this, but I couldn't find it, so apologies if I'm repeating...
but has anyone tried to solve the mystery of the missing Bella Goth in the sims 3?
I've made a journalist sim and she interviews people...but then just writes articles. and she's read the books you can buy about her.. but i'm no closer to finding anything.
has anyone else tried this?

thanks!!

There's no "Bella Goth Mystery". Where did you hear this nonsense from?

They fracking deleted her and pretended that she was abducted by aliens. By 'Them' I mean EAxis. Sloppy EAxian work, as usual.

This is sims 3 yes... the mystery I find is that I can't make Bella BACHELOR! and Mortimer Goth lovers.. They don't wanna know. And I also though Bella was supposed to be beautiful and elegant.. wtf happened?

Bella Goth is active- and not yet dead- in the Sims 3 timeline. Which is a prequel to Sims 1 and 2.

She is a child in the Sims 3 :)!

I haven't had any trouble hooking Bella and Mortimer up. Has happened on its own twice and I'm working on it myself in my current save. I changed their traits in my current game but yeah, on their own lovingness in the other saves without help from me.

She is beautiful and elegant once she hits YA-hood. She's awkward in her teen years.

She is beautiful and elegant once she hits YA-hood. She's awkward in her teen years. She is manageable in the looks department, but not as pretty as one would expect. Her eyes are very big and cartoony, and she barely has a chin. She looks like a poor man's version of Ariel from the little mermaid.

She was prettiest in TS1, maybe it was the fact that you couldn't see her very closely that left so much to the imagination and made her the most beautiful TS1 sim I have ever seen.

I think it was decided that she was abducted in TS2...since she appeared in Strangetown, you know, the town with the CRASHED ALIEN SHIP.
I never really liked her actually. GTFO my desert of wierdness, you normie.
Nooooooormie!

Shun the normie. Shuuuuuun.

Wait, isn't Bella on the milk cartons in The Sims 2? No one in Strangetown decided to report to the police that she had been found after she knocked on their doors and crashed their parties? What bastards!

Also, on the topic of Bella being elegant, what happened to the Goth family? In Unleashed, they're wealthy and powerful and I'd say elegant. In The Sims 3, they look like angsty Goth gypsies - not the creepy, yet classy and wealthy family in the other two games.

they probably haven't made that much money in the past(TS3), and the creators probably thinks it would be funny to dress the goths in gothic outfits(they are kinda emo too in my opinion)

I find it hard to picture the TS3 Goths turning into the TS1 Goths. It's like Adam Lambert morphing into Barack Obama.

Can't say about unleash, as I only remember them from the base game in TS1. But about their house, TS2 had the best Goth house so far. In TS1 their house was not that great, they didn't even have a dining room, instead they ate on the porch, in garden furniture. In TS3 their house is huge and ugly on many many levels, in TS2, it was really nice actually.

In Unleashed they had Gunther and Cornelia Goth as elders in their own house (with cats for pets, since UL was the TS1 pets ep).
It is hard to imagine the TS3 versions aging into their TS1 counterparts. I was especially surprised by Gunther's long hair in TS3.

Oh my god! So true.

I liked their indoor pool turned greenhouse. But the rest of the house is kind of forgettable.

They had a nice house. And yeah, Gunther's hair makes him look like a gypsy. Not the founding father from the old country he was described as. And Cornelia looks like should be off writing poetry about how her parents don't understand her in the cemetery.

Real Goths prefer traditional Gothly activities like sacking, pillaging, and looting.

I loved playing the Goth Seniors in TS1 because they were loaded :P If I remember correctly Gunther was at the top of the teaching career and Cornelia was in the criminal career!

Weren't they also magically-inclined? I remember on the box of Makin' Magic Bella and Mortimer were CLEARLY witches and they had a pet dragon.
Or maybe that was all for promotion

I guess that would be for sims 2 not sims 3 .. Sims 3 has a story about Mrs. Crumplebottom a.k.a Agnes Crumplebottom in Sunset Valley.

If you're wondering why Bella is younger, that's because 3rd generation of The Sims is supposed to be built in the past, as we see her as a kid, and Daniel and Mary-Sue were in their honeymoon and Dirk Dreamer wasn't married yet.

Oh my goodness, yes. I feel like TS3 Gunther would look at his TS1 self and shriek, "NO NO NO NO NO! Can't I PLEASE keep the long hair and guyliner?!"
