Object placement

Hey guys,

I am in the middle of creating a restaurant and I am wanting to place table lamps in the centre of a 4-tiled table.

I have tried using the cheat "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false"
but it doesn't seem to work on tables.

Is there a way to be able to do this or not.

Try placing the object on an OMSP (http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?tag=OMSP&go=Go&gs=1&f=38&gs=1) and then using the boolprop snapobjectstogrid false cheat to place the OMSP in the centre of the table.

ok thanks. never used an OMSP before but suppose it couldn't hurt trying

actually, no need to worry. I have a 1-tile table exactly the same as the 4-tiled i'm using. I just placed the lamp on that table and moved it to the centre of the larger one. works fine. thanks for your suggestion.
