I recently installed WA and fully patched my game. My package files don't work anymore. The game loads fine right now but no package files show up in the game.
Right now they are in My Documents> Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads > Packages
Not sure if this is the correct place for them. Can anyone help?

You need to put them in..
My Documents - Electronic Arts - The Sims 3 WA - Downloads - Packages
..in order for them to work.

Thank you, I'll try that now.
ETA: I don't have a Sims 3 WA file in My Docs > Electronic Arts. I only have My Docs> Electronic Arts > Sims 3.
The game keeps creating a Downloads folder. I'm wondering if I put it in that one instead of Mods.

Let me know whether or not they work. If they don't I got a few more ideas on the problem, but that is the most likely. :bunny:

Ok I have tried the packages in:
My Documents> Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads > Packages
My Documents> Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages
The game doesn't load if I use the Mods folder. The game loads fine if I use the Downloads folder, but neither let packages show up in my game.

You need to put it in the World Adventures section of it. You're putting it in the base game section.

I don't have a WA folder in My Documents > Sims 3. There only is Sims 3 there, even though I have WA installed.

It should be in My Documents > Electronic Arts, just like the base game.

@mangomoon: My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages is the correct path. You probably have outdated CC if the game refuses to load.

...Oh well. I'm used to Sims 2, haven't gotten Sims 3 EP's yet.
