An idea that had been playing around in my head was the notions of a mix of a legacy/Living off land/repopulate the town / creation / any other spiels you’d like to put on it. So as the story would go 2 Sims (preferably male and female in order to repopulate) find a little spot of land that is a located amongst a deserted/ bulldozed neighbourhood wiped of any lots bar one .

Now thanks to AMBITIONS the beauty of real-estate and lot placement one can really live and repopulate the land.
So getting back to it you leave one lot for the time being and your 2 Sims of young to adult age move to this lot of any size and live off the land for a while through the beauty of selling things in one's inventory until they are able to build their own house OR ANOTHER HOUSE.

When the money and time is right have your Sims purchase another lot that has been placed by you in town to build a liveable house with their own money to than sell this lot and change it into a empty lot purchasable lot; fingers crossed a family will move into it through story progression.

(Do you see where I’m going?)

Naturally you'd build the house quite small to hopefully build a few others or community lots and so on. And by ‘so on’ you will need to order your way of building to ensure the growth of your little heaven is smooth such as asking questions like if I don’t build a school will my kids gets taken away? Or how can I repopulate best? or even where shall i place a lot dedicated to the founding members of the town.

As the generations progress your legacy will be tied to the tradition of continually updating and improving your town whilst controlling populations, places to go etc.

ask questions but quite simply the idea of the challenge is to rebuild (quite literally) a town by building lots from your active households own money and repopulating this new town by joining with other families that move in to stimulate the population, faster income for further lots.

Some rules to stick to would be

-no money cheats (living off land aspect)

-Continuing heirs and heiresses and so forth if there is no one left your pretty much finished.(Legacy aspect) UNLESS You have a pureblood(same last name) distant cousin than to stay true with it a change of active household would be in order.

- And things like normal aging rate are to be used for authenticity. (I hav’nt said anything about life fruit)

You will win when you feel you have accomplished and created something great.

It's just an idea I’m sure with many floors but in theory I think it could quite possibly work!
ENJOY!!!

I've been toying around with a similar idea as a way to really resurrect the Build-a-city challenge I loved so much in Sims 2. I haven't gotten past the "sketching out the details" part, but in *theory* I suppose you could use something like the rabbit hole rugs to facilitate the construction of your community lots. The only thing that's stopped me from jumping in at this part is the uncertainty of how to handle places of employment. I've got a long weekend ahead of me, though, so maybe I'll get started on this today. Thanks for the encouragement :D.
