View Full Version : Sims age being reset after appearance change.

Everytime I go to change my Sims appearance, the Sims age resets.

For example, my Sim has 8 days till he becomes an adult. I go change his appearance in the mirror or the salon. Then if I check his age, it will have been reset back its start, so he was now 20 or so days till he becomes an adult.

I cant believe this bug STILL exists in game. I stopped playing because of it not long after WA came out. I just bought Ambitions yesterday, expecting to see the bug gone...and low and behold, it IS STILL THERE.

I cannot play the game with this bug in it. Having to only have 1 pair of clothes for each Sim is no fun at all.

Is there any fix or mod to change this?
I have googled and searched and havent come up with anything.
I dont want to use the cake to force a birthday either.

Actually, it was fixed at one point and EA broke it again with Ambitions. I use Twallan's Master Controller mod and take the sim into CAS via the stylist interaction. The age doesn't change using the mod. Twallan's mods are located here: http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?board=105.0 if you would like to consider using it.

It was fixed and now its back? Oh man :(
Well heres hoping they can fix it again.
I think what I am going to do is upon each Sims birthday, I will create a set of clothes options for that life spans and just use them. Unfortunatly that means no haircuts though.
