Problem with architecture career

Hello,
First of all i would like to say that my game is in spanish so i dont know the exact words in english :D
Anyway, when i choose the architecture career nothing happens, i dont have any job opportunities or anything. Is there a problem with the game?
I thought there were no opportunities at level 1 but i'm in higher levels now (only through painting) and i still dont have any job offers.
Can anyone explain whats going on?
I really want to redecorate the house around my town!

Are you going to the employment page and clicking on the work button? On the Sim that is in that career.

You only get job offers during work hours. Maybe it's the weekend?

I am sure there is a problem with my game because during work hours i have no opportunities to develop. I have plenty of them in the gosthbuster job and the other so i am sure the architecture career is not working well in my game.

I think it depends on the career level. While waiting for customers to offer you jobs you'd better practice on architectural designs.

Not necessarily. I did the architecture and I had plenty of opportunities coming everyday, even in the beginning.

If you go to map view you should see your jobs...they don't come up as opportunities do...

Are you playing a vanilla game (no mods)? I had this problem at first and it turns out the culprit was Twallan's Supercomputer. Might be an older version...

I have a similar issue. Very briefly had a job opportunity pop up, once, right as I clicked "Switch to this Sim" (an Awesomemod feature). Well, I went right back to my main (architect) Sim, and he didn't have the opportunity anymore. No new ones are showing up, and it's been multiple work days. Nothing on the map, either. Can't ask on the Awesomemod forums, either, because their annoying registration system tags me as a spammer(!) and won't let me finish registration. It'd be cool if there was some sort of cheat code to make an "available job" appear, but I can't find any such thing.

EDITED TO ADD: don't know if this was what fixed it, but I let time run for a good week, and suddenly POOF! A whole BUNCH of jobs showed up on the map. Go figure.

When I had an architect, I played through the whole ten levels and got one call. On the first day. I had to send my sim out to talk to people and offer to remodel. I honestly didn't know that wasn't by design. o.O

My PI sim gets constant calls, though.
