The Anime Legacy

Your founder is a girl (only girl) who just started university, she seeks for a very good looking guy. The target is to have a huge family with 3-5 generations.

THIS IS NOT A CHALLENGE!!! IT'S LEGACY!
i wrote so many rules so that it would be more interesting to play.
Please don't hate me! :cry:

Rules: :deal:
1. The girl must be a little anime looking.
2. You can change each person’s look every time someone joins the family (if you want to).
3. The founder must have a boyfriend.
4. The family must have at least 5 generations.
5. All the family people must have names from any anime (yeah, even those names that are extremely weird, for example: Robo195 xoxoOMG. That counts).
6. You may not use custom content if you don’t want to.
7. The founder MUST have 4 kids.
8. Each generation MUST have at least 2 kids. You may have more, but not less.
9. The founder must have a greek house.

Here are the rules of greek house: :beer:
1. Each generation MUST live here.
2. Parties MUST be at least once per week.
3. Any Chinese food after finishing exam, graduating and on every party.
4. There must be at least one painting or photo of each generations person.
5. When the last living person in the greek house is close to graduating, it must choose any of best friends to be the “leader” of the greek house till other generation lives there.

Other rules: :D
1. Each person from the generation must find a pair and get engaged still being in university.
2. When choosing aspirations, roll the dice (or any other way, that's more interesting).
3. Being Romance sim is a taboo. He doesn’t have right to love someone. This sim must adopt a baby (only baby, not child or toddler).
4. There must be each third person in generation who is exactly the same as the person who has his name (example: Naruto. He must be the same as naruto and eat ramen every day etc.).
5. The house where they live MUSTN’T HAVE CUSTOM CONTENT!!!
Too much rules? Believe me, it’s worth it. The gameplay will be
more interesting this way.

When the game ends?:
1. When the founder dies without children.
2. When the founder graduates without a pair.
3. When the founder doesn’t live in greek house being a sophomore.
4. When everybody from generation dies.
5. When you’re bored from this game and you quit.

It’s not purely has anime things, but the style is anime kind with a little of realism. I’ve been downloading things from there for a whole year now lol.

Can I include other mini legacies?:
Yes, you can. But don’t mess up with realism challenges, OK? :lol:

Not really has idea what the Sims looks are for. For challenge, there should be a purpose, isn't it? Yours sounds like Legacy with nice anime style Sims. And it sounds- no offense- little bit not really like anime characters. IMHO playing anime characters is most fun when if you recreate their world along with whole neighborhood or play in simish "alternate universe". :) If that was a challenge to make prettiest anime baby, it would make more sense. Not a specialist in challenges, though.

dostha thanks for that comment, i appreciate it. It was my first try on making challenge/legacy, so it's not that good. And i changed the link. And yeah, i guess it must be called not "The anime challenge" but "The anime legacy" or "The prettiest baby that looks like anime character" lol. I wrote about looks so that people would understand, that the sim must look like anime character. The pretty babies are because...uhh...ok i think i'll just delete this sentence (lol i wrote something without having any idea what's that for). But the thing is that i don't know what i should fix in this "challenge" (because I'm dumb, duh). But i know now that i should fix the title from "challenge" to "legacy".

Usually in a good challenge, all the rules have a specific purpose, either to support the theme or to keep people from using loopholes. For instance, the Royal Kingdom has rules about who your sims can marry in order to make it more like medieval times, and Nickel & Dimed has a rule against the money tree because the point of that challenge is to get by on a crappy salary. Some of your rules make logical sense, like the rule about names, but others I don't see the point of, like the founder having exactly 4 kids, or all the stuff about the greek house.

To be honest, this sounds like you just wrote down all the things you did in your game, no matter what the point was, and made them "rules".

Look around more and read about other challenges: by the limitation they give, they simulate something new! I love Zombie, Apocalyptic and Homeless challenge. Their limitations made you feel like you bought new expansion, not like you put one to paper shredder. Legacy Challenge and similar is good when you are tired of cheating and playing chaotically. so you can build your own family/clan/city making you know everyone's story, personality you gave them... Townies are little bit less "human" :)
Every challenge based on "we play characters from anime/ tv series/ other fandom only" are useless if they're not the characters from the same universe, and the challenge is not made for certain universe. Otherwise, they make little sense: Haruhi, Vegeta, Rena and Abe-san sitting in the one table would be fun in some kind of AU, playing them from the birth to death and making them family- just no.
(What's anime-ish about xoxoOMG or robo195?) Searching for them + anime gave me just some silly comments and custom titles on some forums. Or you think about this: http://mavmav.seesaa.net/upload/detail/image/robo195-1.jpg.html Try to make Sim like this ;)

lol, those names were examples that i made up. I didn't know that there really is robo195 xD. I guess i made too much rules, i just wanted it to be more like legacy than challenge. Still, it's my first try writing those kinds of things so it may be crappy. And i didn't do all this in my game, i wrote it down then i played. The point is to make a huge family with people that have names from anime. That "founder" can live wherever she likes (like pleasantview or something). I wrote "must" for a girl because male townies are worse looking, so it would be harder (i guess). Anyways, if you don't like it, don't play it, just tell me what you think. And as i said, it's more legacy than challenge. And about those names (again), if there is an anime with mecha, and there is a robot with robotic name, it counts if you want to name your baby like that.

By the way, is this based on shojo or shonen anime? I'm thinking shojo, but I hadn't watched a lot of that genre.
