Placing the clubs in Sunset Valley

I havent been able to place the clubs or other things that were included with late night into Sunset Valley. It will let me place the houses but not the clubs. Somebody please help !

Make sure that the lots are community lots( by clicking on lot icon) and that they are big enough for the buildings.

I had the same problem trying to place the Vampire lounge. I had to use the 60 x 60 lot, change to commumity lot and make sure to pick "vampire" option, then I was able to place it. Haven't tried using it yet though, because a bit later my game crashed!

I tried this the other day as well. I added a dive bar into sunset valley, but it wouldnt hire anybody to work as the mixologist. It didnt have a roped off section so I dont know if it would do the same for bouncers, but I suspect there wouldnt be anyone working there either. Neighborhood sims did show up and go inside though.

Hm... maybe it has to do with the fact that SV doesn't have that "suburban sign" (the one you see when you chose a neighbourhood)?

no it should work i addaed the grind to twinbrook (its always packed)
the mixologist thing you may have to wait a long time for the game to assign one then turn up. for me it took about 5 sim hours

I have placed some clubs in Sunset Valley. I kicked out the Alto and Landgraab (or whatever their name is) families, deleted their homes, changed the Lots to "Vampire Lounge" or "pool club" and placed the clubs there. Even the Plasma 501 club. All the NPCs appears. Barmixer, Bouncer. No problems.
The clubs are crowded with sims. More than in Bridgeport.

From time to time i got pretty crowded nights, but i guess its because I
still only got 3 LN places on SV, so not much places for my sims to party :beer:

I put plasma in SV and my sims are there now but they can't go inside and there is no elevator.

I used the sandy, beach land to lot some clubs, and it works out fine. Like others said, my clubs in Sunset Valley are always crowded, but Riverview, they are empty. I do believe those sims go to bed too early.

What would you expect? Riverview = basically Kentucky, while Sunset Valley = California. :lol:

Anyways, most of my Ambitions lots went on the beach part of the town, and I wouldn't be surprised if my Late Night lots went there as well.
