Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had good tips for hanging out as a group townies. Every single time I form a group, two hours later or so I get messages to the effect of "Worst time ever!" and a 3 hour negative moodlet.

I'm just doing what I would do in real life: Get a round of drinks for everyone and sit in the booth chatting it up. But apparently this is really boring to the sims?

Part of the problem I realize is that they don't like going to dead places, and when I go to the active places, the mixologyst is so busy that it takes an hour and a half to get my order done.

Does anybody have good tips for having a good time when hanging out as a group?

I think all that really factors into having a good group outing is to have everyone be in a good mood at the end. I don't remember for sure if they were in a good mood or not, but once I made a group outing by accident with another sim (I wanted to have her join my band). I ended the group outing immediately and she said it was epic, and I'm pretty sure I got a positive moodlet for a while too. She must have been in a great mood for it not to have been a bad outing.

You also may want to try out Twallan's Relativity Mod (http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=4bbaef30da4de883987653d09a63b3bc&topic=4687.0) so that it doesn't take as long in sim time for the mixologist to complete your orders.

Alrighttt!! I'm game! :heyhey: Let's..... Oh, sorry. I thought you meant you wanna go hang out as a group. :p

Okay, jokes aside, I think it could be because of the lagging problem (sims stuck in motion and everything) that mixologists work at a slower speed than they're supposed to? For me, orders are completed pretty quickly. Maybe you could try Twallan's Overwatch to clean up your game. Twallan is like a god around here these days. Haha.

Hello,

I already had the Overwatch mod in place but I had never actually read about the Relativity mod before. I gave it a try and it really helps out.

Thanks so much!

Oh, so Relativity works in this case? I gotta try that out too. Thanks!

So now, what about that hangout of ours? :heyhey:
