Help though I shouldn't Post this but plleeeasee help meee

:l my custom content will not show up in this game! wait! I know I'm supposed to post it here but I need to actually talk to someone because I literally have done everything and my custom content will not work. I have a Mac and I re-installed my game, deleted all old files and did the new way of downloading custom content.
it's not working! I only have NL and no matter what I do it won't work :l I even tried doing it this girl way with the resource.cfg

I even tried taking out the resource.cfg file, like nothing. Poop. Natta.
Perhaps the resource.cfg file needs to be updated? idk, please help me. I've been trying since Oct 26th when I got the ep to make my custom content work and it's not working.

Also, I know I'm not supposed to post in this section but I don't know how to post in a section that would help me with this...even if you tell me how or something...
:( Just please help me, I miss playing my sims :(

The thing that displayed before you posted tells you the right section to do it in. Reading instructions helps a lot with this stuff!
