Goddamn some people are rude. Delphy takes down MTS for a few hours out of every few months to perform maintenance and some dickstain thinks he can just demand to have the site back up IMMEDIATELY. WTF is wrong with people? Delphy and his other half do amazing work for the Sims community, some people could at least try to be a bit more appreciative. Goddess wept.
I'd tell that whiny, self-entitled little bitch to shut his face, but I don't use Twitter.

Some people really think they're entitled to everything. It did give us a good laugh over dinner though.

Well, I don't use Twitter either so I don't know what those people had exactly said. But anyway, idiots who don't think they could wait for a few hours for site maintenance means they're too stupid/dull to do anything else, doesn't it?

The site was down? Woosh. Over my head.
Hah. What exactly did they say? I'm kinda curious.

You don't need a twitter account to see the posts for now. Just search Twitter for @DelphyMTS (http://twitter.com/search?q=%40DelphyMTS) and click the "more" button at the bottom of the page. (I would link directly to the rudesby's account, but does being that guy really entitle anyone to traffic?)

I read about it at SimSecrets... and didn't understand what was everything about xD
Some people need to look for alternative activities, instead of clicking the refresh button all the time. I didn't even notice the downtime myself.

There's no excuse for someone being rude because a FREE site is done maintenance. I appreciate this site, which has provided me with tons of advice, too much cc to count, and a social outlet (a big deal for an agoraphobe).

Yeah I read it too. I don't use twitter myself, but read it on the frontpage with Delphy's maintenance tweets. It's pretty selfabsorbed and impolite. On the other hand reacting to it isn't much use. 'Don't feed the trolls' is usually the best. Thereby, Delphy did a fine job telling 'to go and stuff it' himself.

reminds me of the people who, when the online games i play are down, rather than GO OUTSIDE and DO SOMETHING, will flock to the forums/chat boxes and whine at the GMs every 10 seconds about how unfair life is because they cant have what they want Right Now Right Now Right Now.
and i believe that if the whiner isnt at least a 10 year old, they should have their computer taken away. for their own good.

I finally caved and got a Twitter account (for a completely unrelated reason), so I finally did give the jackass a textual bollocking. (#xerrofoot)

So more than a month after the incident you create a twitter account and go yelling at some jerky teen? Perihelion, I didn't like the idiot either, but save your sanity. Go play outside and do something x-massy.
