Well first off I just want to note that this is actually my first time posting in MTS forums. (I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section.) >.<

I just had two quick questions that I couldn't find the answer for anywhere
:help:

Well first question has to do with a random floating fish that appears in my CAS. (I think it's a goldfish?)

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, do any of you know a solution? .o. I mean, you know it's just..floating there.

Uh second question. (relating to that picture)
So I was playing around in CAS and I was planning on making a new file with a small family (man, woman, toddler)
So as I finished the parents, I went to "play with genetics" to get their child.

I'm not sure if this just happens but every time I got a new baby their eyes wouldn't match any of the parents eyes.
The parents both have the default violet eyes (from the color box)
but their children from the playing with genetics results have blue, green, yellow, and other colors that don't even come close to their parents.
I think it's strange :blink: I haven't downloaded any CC in months so I don't think it has to do with that? (It only started appearing now, along with the eye genetic failures.)

:help: Help please?
I think my sims would be sad to have random eyed children. >.<

Once again sorry if this isn't relating to section.. ^^;;

CC gets old and the patches tend to make them change. You might have residual custom content that is creating the object in CAS. It might be something that lets the programmer of the custom content know that their code worked with you. The reason it would become visable is that the code has changed and the hidden object is now visable.

Normal programmers do things like that too, but they use the game access to check and dont have theirs become visable. Some people call those taletells. At one time that was how you were supposed to know you needed to patch your game. Lord British called it Graphics Degrading and I wont quote Sid Meyers. They dont do it and most try really hard not to let people see them. It can be any object from the game re-adapetd.

IIRC there is a 10% chance of an offspring not having the eyecolor of either parent

Floating fish? That's awesome! Why would you want to fix that?

Fish spawner in the CAS? Or if it's stationary, invisible fish bowl?
