View Full Version : Two questions about race in the sims3 (Asians,blacks,whites ect.)

Ok once I downloaded world adventures to my base game. I had made a black female sim (dark hair, dark brown eyes that appear black, dark brown skin tone...the works!) She traveled to Asia and met this asian guy (black hair, dark brown eyes, and paleish asian type skin tone.) I checked his family tree all were asians and so were his kids....lol...anyway!

They had their first child together and I was soooooooooooooo shocked. They had a blonde haired, white skin toned (not his),and all about her features appeared white. I should of kept a picture of them! Has anyone had this happen before? It was so strange. In sims2 genetics mattered and things like this never happened. She was cute though :P

But when they make white families and want to adopt they always get black babies and one guy said he is on his 5th, he was like ok the first time and second...lol he sounded crazy funny like, but I noticed when I made a all black family when they adopted they always got white kids and always on the plus size of weight :blink: is EA teaching about being diverse? I think its ok, but just wondered.

EA messed up with genetics in sims 3 so if you want it fixed, you need a mod like awesomemod that fixes all of EA's mess ups.

In Sims 2 I usually would get a redhead with green eyes and black skin with that mix. I think they used the Island Adventure code where if you have kids each race stays "pure" instead of mixing. IE one black and one white in a twin set. I'm still calling that one "Jungle Bunnies" for that and other flaws.

In Sims 2 I usually would get a redhead with green eyes and black skin with that mix.I used to get that a lot too! And really black skin with blonde hair.

I get that a lot now with my townies. When I use Master Controller to jump to a house, Its always a dark skinned person with BLOND hair and some weird coloured eyes. I don't think i have any normal townies that I didn't uses MasterController mod to modify.

No kidding. I tend to play white, skinny, kind of Barbie type girls, and after playing for a while, it seems that the entire rest of the town is black, with golden blonde hair and a serious weight problem. Of course, could be worse, when I had been playing Sunset Valley for a while, and everyone began to get old, I swear all the guys as they aged up picked the same waist length curly hair that I'd downloaded, and the hospital gown. Sunset Valley really was looking like the Woodstock Nursing Home for a while. I downloaded Master Controller and couldn't decide whether to change the guys in CAS or just use a tiedye pattern on the flipping hospital gowns.

LOL your post made me laugh so very hard!!!!! Barbie types and somehow the whole town is full of black sims with blonde hair lol am sorry, but thats too funny!!! And everyone has the same hair style in hospital wear! I love playing thin sims, but the more thin simns exist in my family it appears the more overweight the town becomes. :rofl:
