View Full Version : What are the best Sims 3 legacy/story sites?

Especially in regards to the (possibly) more serious and adult-content ones. By adult content I don't mean in regards to sex scenes and lots of foul language, just more mature story plots with some blood and gore tossed in. Less fluff, more gruff I guess.

I ask because I'm trying to find a good, active forum to host my upcoming horror-mystery sims 3 story on... but what forums I've come across don't seem to host sims legacies like that.

And I apologize beforehand if I posted this question in the wrong section.

As long as it's not horribly graphic, we host stories with "adult" content in them... They can have swearing, sex scenes (as long as they're not graphic... no showing the naughty bits and whatnot), and violence (a bit of blood is fine, strewn entrails not so much). Our Stories forum is under Community > Sims Creativity.

Well, er, there is a scene where an insane character wakes up in his once nice apartment to discover blood stains on the walls and a corpse with knife near his bed, with him finding himself now an unwilling vampire.

Probably too much for this site. :(

Eh, doesn't sound too bad, honestly, as long as you don't have closeups of disemboweling or something. Just stick a "some graphic content" disclaimer on the top and I'm sure it'd be fine. If you want, you can send me the pics/text by PM before posting and I can tell ya whether it'd be cool here.

While a blog would be ideal in regards to what picture size and content is allowed, in order for a sims related story to get any traffic from other sims fans you'd have to post a link to the story on various forums. It has been in my experience that if a site wont allow anything beyond a PGish rating in posts, then wont allow links to be posted to anything beyond the same rating.

I'm probably overreacting to how gore-filled and disturbing the sims legacy I am working on will come across, but better to error on the side of caution. As soon as I finish fine-tuning a couple things I'll be sure to send them over to HystericalParoxysm to take a look at, before setting up a thread. :)
