I ever wondered how the people wich are making the worlds for the expansions, sculpt the terrain like this:

Any Ideas?

Thank you, but what do you mean with 'high' and 'low' quality?

Use a big brush at a high setting to do the major terrain sculpting, to get a big, rough shape sort of like what you want. Hill gentle will do that. Then start carving it down with a small valley gentle brush at a low setting, going down to a very small brush to do the tiny little ridges.

Also, try to do all the big stuff first, then all the medium stuff, and then all the small stuff. Don't just make a big hill and sculpt the whole thing and move onto the next hill - you'll find you get a much more consistent look overall.

I don't mean high and low quality, I mean high and low settings for the "strength" setting. I usually don't have it set to more than 15 - sometimes as low as 3-5. It means smaller, more incremental changes, but it's also a lot more finely controllable that way.

I also tend to have Falloff set to 0 to make it fuzzy around the edges, so you don't have to use "Smooth" as much as it's already blended.
