Where are all the sims 2 downloads gone to ?

Hi everybody,

It has been a long time since I played the Sims 2. But I just installed everything again. And I came here to look for some custom content. But to my suprise almost everything that used to be, is gone, disappeared. I don't know if it's me that just doesn't know anymore how to look for everything or did a lot of people really removed everything because of the Sims 3 (that I refuse to play, I have it but really don't like it). I just wanted to download some stuff again because I lost it, but it's no fun if you have so little choice anymore.

The sims 2 stuff is still here. Sure, many sites have gone down, but many still exist, and are now allowing users to upload content from now-defunct sites, namely GoS and SimsCave

If you mean here on MTS - exactly where it always was. Downloads -> Sims 2: we haven't deleted anything.

Some other sites have closed, but not too many. Some have made their front page Sims 3 stuff, and hidden the TS2 stuff behind a link though.
