Trash and Trash can in the sims 2 double deluxe

Hi, I'm kinda new here.. I downloaded a house. I can't pick up the trash in front of the house. I've tried boolprop, and move_objects to move the trash can, thinking that would help, but when I type in the cheat code, the trash can doesn't move. My maid doesn't pick up the trash, and all the exterminator does, is kill the roaches.. Can someone HELP!!!!!

Are you entering the cheat correctly? You are entering it as moveObjects on (no underscore) and not receiving an error message? Can you tell that the cheat is working for items other than this trash can? For instance, can you place two objects on the exact same grid after entering the cheat?

I didn't try moving any other items.. And no I didn't type it like that.. but I will try and then let you know..

I just tried spelling it that way, and nothing..

Nothing = you can't move the trash can?
or
Nothing = you can't do any of the things moveObjects on enables, like overlapping objects?

(I'm trying to figure out if we have a problem with just the trash can or with the cheat code.)

move_objects on

The one without the underscore is Sims3.Unfortunately, that's wrong. There's no underscore in the "moveobjects on" cheat. If you don't know how to type a cheat correctly, try typing the first few characters and then pressing the <tab> key. The game should auto-finish the command. If there are multiple cheats which begin with the same first few letters, keep pressing <tab> until the correct cheat appears. Then, enter the parameters (in this case "on").
