Hi: I'm trying to make a pair of alpha editaable short exercise pants for my sim lady you know like the type jane fonda used to wear back in the 80's a little flared up on the thighs. Ok, I've made a few nice looking leotard for her using the same mesh I made but since the mesh goes about two inches over the thighs it looks good as long as the mesh is about1/8 of an inch from the body but, as soon as i flaered out the thigh area about an inch or so, looks good from behind& the front but the side view looks like the mall has been eating thru it in the bodyshop. The thing that i don't really understand is with the comments so' I just copy comment from other cc&it has worked so far. I made the mesh by coping the faces of the body from the neck down to about two inches over the thighs excluding the arms, then, I shaped it the way i wanted to just about 3mm from the skin then copied that. then,i took the copy&inverted the faces&alighned the normals so it turned black on the outside &the other alpha with sit directly on top of it without it protruding at all. so, then I commented the outside one body_alpha 1 &the inverted layer body_alpha-1. It has worked perfectly when used as a leotard&swimwaear but, as soon as I flared the thigh area it shows this funny see thru fenomenon. can someone please explain what I'm doing that's not right .Many thanks in advance. :Pint:

I wish someone wwould show up that knows this stuff with alpha groups &their comments & would make this a little easier, since i know they would know exactly what I'm talking about. Merry christmas to you. :Pint:

I know about alpha groups and their comments, but without seeing what you're talking about, I don't know what your problem is. It might not have anything to do with the comments at all.
I hope someone comes along and helps you, too, because I'm not going to. I don't help rude people.

I just thought since I explained my post so in details & you said you didn't quite understood that maybe this was not your speciality & I apreciated that you wanted to help anyway. Sort of that way not to be rude in anyway. I even wished you a meryy christmas so, I'm not a mean person. Maybe i phrased it wrong. i know you've tried to help me in the past many times even when you quite didn't have the answer so, it's all a misunderstanding.
