View Full Version : Couple of questions that have been bugging me...

I was just wondering a couple of things...

On the block and "drawing" unit toy for toddlers and children, how come there was never a option made to draw when the paper and pens are already there? I swear in TS2 there was an option to draw as well as using the building blocks...

Secondly, and this probably is a dumb question, but how far back do genetics go? Like say could a grandchild of a Sim inherit her grandmothers looks, even if their mother didn't take the grandmothers looks? Or are genetics restricted to only what the parents look like there and then?

I remember the draw option too.

As far as genetics, I am doing the Dilute the Ugly Gene challenge and I am on Generation 7 and still getting features from Gen 1.

Toddlers could draw at the table in Sims 2. They'd do little crayon drawings...I don't know why they didn't include that in Sims 3. I used to love decorating their rooms with their drawings.

I was just thinking the same thing last week. I hope they include it in an expansion pack/patch.

I use to put those drawing up as well-- both toddlers and kids could draw on it. Seems a weird omission since drawing is a popular activity with toddlers and kids.

I am annoyed that the kids can't draw either when the supplies are clearly there.. like in TS2 it gave them at least one more thing they could do. There are so few things for toddlers to do anyways.

And I have a legacy on generation 9 and one of the kids has picked up traits from generation 1 founder, so genetics can go quite a ways.
