Sims 2 Installing Sims and Houses - Need Help

I have Sims 2 Double Deluxe and Seasons EP installed. I'm new to the Sims, just bought the game two days ago. This is the third day. Before I get- Have you read th-? Yes. I've read every possible thing on how to install sims and houses. I've followed instructions exactly. Multiple times. I've tried a clean installer. Undownloaded it. Tried again. I've even tried a 'SavedSims' folder. Nothing works. The weird thing is that the game box popup says everything has installed. The clean installer as well. It just won't show up in the game. No saved sims in CAS - prexisting sims folder. No houses or lots.

I have already installed custom content perfectly fine, no problem. I have enabled custom content in the game.

Can someone please help me? :cry:

You appear not to have read this:

Which will make you feel better.

Once you've done that, try deleting the contents of Documents\ EAGames\ The Sims 2\ Teleport and trying again with your Sims2Packs.

Unfortunately, there are no contents in my Teleport folder...so I deleted the whole thing. :D

Still didn't work. The Teleport folder came back.

I think when I double click the download, it automatically installs in the default user sims folders. I'm not sure, I'd have to log off and check, since I'm a sub user. But my computer is stupid- and my knowledge of computers ._.- with the clean installer it doesn't allow the change from default user to sub user. If that were the case, would I have to temporarily change my sub user thing to default?

The Clean Installer should let you install to anywhere you like - you could even install the files to your desktop then move them into teleport/savedsims/etc. What goes wrong?

Have you got regular package CC in Downloads working?
