I'm sorry if I'm not posting this in the appropriate area or doing anything wrong, this is my first time posting anything. I'm usually okay with figuring things out on my own, but I've been going nuts for hours and I'm desperate.
I've been working on a very large family tree, and to speed up the process, I've been using the tombstone of L&D and Rodney's death creator. I've not had any problems with aging and killing over 50 sims.. until tonight. I went about it as I had been, I killed off one of the parents of a sim I'd just aged to adulthood, and then went to kill the father and none of the tombstone options worked. I shrugged it off and made the morbid decision to attempt starving him to death.. which for over 3 sim weeks didn't work. I actually left him locked in a room while I showered. I came back and he was still kicking. Then I attempted drowning him by removing the latter in the pool and dragging his energy down to nothing.. still.. he lived. I then locked him in a room and set it on fire. He stood in the fire and survived until the fire went out 9 sim hours later. At this point, I was irritated, so started googling other ways to kill him and came upon the cowplant. The stupid plant wouldn't even eat him when I commanded him to take the cake. I'd really like to move on with my family tree, so any resolutions? I don't understand how all of the other sims on the lot died fine, and when it came his turn, he just wouldn't. The cheats I had active at the time were:
Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
moveobjects on
maxmotives
motivedecay off (I deactivated this while trying to kill him)
Thank you in advance, and once again, I apologize if I've posted improperly. I made sure to search for similar problem and read the FAQ's, but there were no problems like mine. I've seen similar, but they hadn't seemed to have gone to the lengths to kill the sim that I have. I feel like he's immortal. :faceslap:
