I'm soooo annoyed right now because I cannot find WA anywhere in my hometown. *kicks dumb stores* So it's the last EP I need, and I'm REALLY wanting to play it!
But, that's not happening for at least a couple days, so I want to hear about YOUR favourite parts of the game, and why :)

I always felt that Sims2 lacked things to do that kind of mattered. OFB was way too easy. So one thing I really like about WA is the tomb raiding. Its costly, fun, and though not really challenging, brings a little bit of RPG into the mix. Photography is a great skill too. The challenges are hard and the pictures themselves are kind of fun to take because of the interface and labeling system. WA really surprised me with its sophistication.

I'm excited about the photography :) I'm unsure about the tomb raiding though, it's either going to be a hit or miss with me. Probably a hit though XD

Travelling is my favourite thing. Tomb raiding is fun, but I have not raided anything since last summer. I have still sent several Sims abroad. Either to spouse hunt, or just have a break, or do an opportunity. If you have LN I recommend adding clubs to the destinations. Hope you get the EP soon.

Thanks :) I have both Ambitions and LN, I would have gotten WA at the same time as LN, but it was the first of many times they did not have it in stock *grumbles*
I couldn't imagine going overseas and not having any clubs IRL, definitely will do so :)

Forgot to mention, that one thing I like doing abroad, is trying out new community lots. I download, add them to the worlds and then there is always something new to do when you travel. And If I like the lot then I can then ad it to my own hood. When at home, my Sims are usually always so busy that I seldom have time to just hang out somewhere, but when abroad, they have time.

I agree. It's so much fun to create clubs to the new worlds and keep them in the same theme.
I also like the fact that EA saw the effort to make every foreign country feel authentic; clothes, appearance, names, music, locations... Too bad they didn't include any camels except the cardboard one.

Yeah, I'm so excited for the furniture from the other countries. I'm a huge fan of both Egyptian and Chinese (though I like Japanese a bit better - anime/manga RULES) culture, so having the choice to make homes based on them will be cool :) Just wish I could MOOOOVE there :P

For me, there's two things: the "puzzles" and the amount of money you make from it.
My sim made over 150,000 in one trip. Best vacation ever.

WOW, that would be so awesome IRL if you could earn so much on a trip!

The three new traversable towns. More specifically, the variety of them.

^ The towns are pretty sweet :) Love how pretty China is, and Egypt is awesome :) Haven't gotten to France yet though :P

One thing I've really liked about WA is that there's so much to explore, that chances are you won't be able to explore it all. In fact, there are probably *still* things I haven't discovered.
I won't spoil the exact location, or what you need to find this, but it wasn't until I had a Vampire Sim go on vacation to France, before she found this underground dive well that let her access this island without Zeneport (Martial Arts/Teleportation is introduced in WA).
I don't know if you have LN, but if you do, celebrity discounts, and public disgrace can happen on vacation. Paparazzi are present as well. Also, again if you have LN, Vampirism helps your Sim gain the new WA skills much faster, except for nectar making unfortunately. That skill is slow to build like gardening and fishing, but unlike those skills, nectar making can be performed indoors.
What's funny is that if a Sim gets caught in a trap and passes out, and they have celebrity status, they get publicly disgraced which adds to the challenge. But then again they get discounts from the merchants.
I'll mention one tip though. If you send Vampires to WA destinations, don't have them purchase dried food. It will NOT satisfy their thirst need. Just get plasma fruit instead. I've never sent Sim-bots to WA destinations, but if you do make sure they have enough scrap to eat throughout the vacation, because by default they will be unable to buy more at the destinations. Also, remember that Sim-bots can short out (many tombs are filled with puddles). So either send them with a companion with sufficient Handiness skill, or you will need to use a cheat to fix them.
