Hello everybody!

I face a major problem during the game! I have all the expansion packs of the Sims 3. I have WinXP installed on my computer. Well, I downloaded many mods from this site and they used to work properly all the time. Before 2 weeks I had to make a format on my computer. I reinstalled the Sims and I placed the mods in C: --> Program files --> Electronic Arts --> The Sims 3 --> Mods --> Packages (I created the file Mods/Packages). Then I tried to run the game, it loaded correctly, but the mods does not appear on the game. I cannot find them anywhere during the game. I have to mention that started after the update 6.2.4.010001 was installed on the game. I tried again without install this update, but the game refused to start without this update.

So, what can I do?

P.S. I tried the MTS_Delphy_1040635_MonkeyBars & MTS_Delphy_1048017_Sims3Dashboard & ProcessMonitor. Nothing happened!

Discussion - Sims 3 Problem
Remember, as the message said that displayed before you posted your thread...

If you're having any problem, issue, error, or glitch with your game, that's a job for MTS's Help section. There's both articles with common issues as well as Q&A support forums where you can ask questions and get specific help.

If you can't find an answer in the FAQs, you can post a new thread in the Help Q&A forums. There's a link to the Help Q&A forums at the top of every FAQ in the Help section. If you do post there, make sure to read and follow the directions that will display before you post there!

Good luck, and happy simming! :)

Link to the proper FAQ: Game Help:Installing Sims 3 Package Files - you shouldn't be putting anything in Program Files. Do the "old way to the new way" and move it to Documents. And you also need to make sure the mods you're using are compatible with your game, because patches can make old things stop working. Good luck. :)
