Are there earthquakes/meteorites in Bridgetown?

Its been quite a while since i was playing in bridgetown and i noticed that i never got an earthquake or a meteorite atack :S.Are they only avaliable in twinbrook or is it because i'm living in a highrise?Thanks :) !

EDIT: I also forgot,are they avaliable in the WA worlds?

I have all ep's and played all the neighbourhoods extensively but have never had a meteor or earthquake, so consider yourself lucky if you've had one anywhere!

It seems extremely rare to get either, if you don't get one it's probably normal.

There's a thread about this just two topics below this one and there's a pic of Bridgeport City Hall that has been struck by a meteorite. So yes, it can happen in Bridgeport. :)

I have Ambitions, though this has never happened to me. Oh, well..

Earthquakes are part of the Active Firefighter career from Ambitions. Instead of getting one of the fires, you can get an earthquake. They won't happen any other way in default game.

Only time I encountered an earthquake was wile I was on duty as firefighter...

As for meteorites, they are completely random and completely annoying cause they always kill someone. Usually me.

It would all make a bit more sense if they had kept the aspiration meeter from TS2...

a sim i modeled after my girlfriend, princessa snootytrousers... she lives in bridgeport, and finds a "space rock" in her yard almost every morning. thats the same thing isnt it? if i want to kill her off, does that mean i buy her a telescope and make her stargaze? cause she pisses me off sometimes...

her sim is just as stubborn as she is, keeps arguing with me when i tell her to do things, wont use ANY sense when gardening, or at work, keeps trying to "business as usual" NO! you're a slacker! a slacker and a snitch, you picked law enforcement, dont ask me why maxis chose snitch as bottom rung of the law enforcement career, they just did. now go to work, squeal and slack off till they fire you and you can meet a nice boy sim to work on that family you're so obsessed with...

yeah, there's alot of yelling at the computer when i play. "WHY are you doing THAT? you have to pee, and you stink. is the recycling really THAT important?"
or
"you want to see a ghost, so we're here in the graveyard. quit freaking out, just hang out. you have apples in your pocket, shut up and eat one if you're hungry, but QUIT whining and go talk to that ghost before it dives back into it's grave. you twit... why are you fishing?"
