Hey Simmers! First time caller, long time listener, and I've got an annoying weirdo bizarro problem that is making me cry great big tears of sadness.
Okay! SOOOO, my problem is not actually recolouring, but more of a why the heck is it doing this question. So here goes.
I'm trying to recolor the Maxis fedora. This worked beautifully, but I've got all the genetics stuff left over and what's happening is the game is treating my EXPORTED textures like two sets of hair. The hat has its own, then there's a SECOND set of hair with the hat TEXTURES themselves superimposed on the head. And while comical and freakish, deleting the nonsense glitched hair results in the loss of my beautiful recolored had. Sad.
So! Can anybody help me out with this? Can I do anything or do I have to live with this glitchy second weirdo hair?
