This thread is for the little tips and tricks to get the most out of Blender 3D 2.5. Feel free to post something you've learned or use. :)
Extra Blender Window:
Did you know you can have two windows in Blender? If you open the user preferences window, you can click the Editor Type button in the bottom left corner and change it to what you want. Even better if you're lucky enough to have two monitors. :)
Or...
You can also make new windows by holding SHIFT + left-click and drag the top right corner of a viewport( where you would normally drag to split the screen. )
