Place house on smaller lot than made with?

I have a house that was made on a 50x50 lot, but only takes up about 1/3rd of the space. Is there any way I can transfer the house onto a smaller lot size without having to rebuild it?

Yes. You can go to edit town and do it the same way as normal. Move lot.

No, unfortunately you cannot place a large lot onto a smaller one. You can move a smaller lot onto a bigger one but not in reverse. As far as I know, there's no mods yet to allow adjustment in lot size.

Sad but true, don't we wish we can "Select All" > "Copy" > "Paste" ? But EA feels we don't have a need to do that.
