Teens babysitting kids while parents travel

Can this work? Harper is a teenager and Charlotte is a child, which means they leave for school at the same time and Harper gets home first. Their dads want to go on vacation to their new mountainside cabin. Will I get the warning about not wanting to leave the babies if I make them go? Okay, I'm being lazy and I don't want to try it -- I want to have the vacation work the first time. Thanks.

If the kid is already off the lot before you leave, you'll be fine.

Of course, the dads have no vacation days so they have to do this on the weekend anyways and take the kids with them. It's all a moot point. ;)

I ended up taking the guys to the cottage and leaving the kids home -- Jack got promoted to a job with weekends, and Will got pregnant by an alien. So they decided to go to the cottage until this weirdness blew over.

Unfortunately it seems that pregnancy can't progress on vacation!?
