So, I have been stuck for some ideas for the past month and I had been become very interested in eco homes and hillside homes.
I was watching Grand Designs (as every good architect should) and I came across this eco home with a large curved roof.
The house here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZWLv-CzT2c)

And I know how to do the curved roof (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIILUUckNSY) as it's the same as TS2 in TS3. I was just wondering if you can create such curved roofs that extend from the ground/fountation (or at least really close to)?

As long as you're happy only having one workable floor underneath the roof yes, you can create a single and uninterupted curved roof (sort of). The main problem will be close to the ground where there will have to be a small vertical section as the walls have a minimum height that is unavoidable unfortunately.

I tried to justify something in a little image:

I'll try and figure out the ending of the roof.

That should work except as teehee said, at either end of the roof, where it meets the ground you would have to have a 4-click high bit of straight wall and same with 1flr. Also, on the gflr your roof walls would extend further than 1flr so that the top corners would intersect with the outer edge/roof. Does that make sense?

Finally, I don't know of a way that you'd be able to place windows right up to the roof like on the video. You can't place windows on distorted walls because of the wall mask getting distorted.

You could maybe try a modified version?
