No Mosaic for patch 1.22 Generations

Hey guys, just wondering if this mod has been updated for Generations yet?

Twallan has updated his Decensor Mod but Ricks No Mosaic has not been updated yet. The quickest way to check if a mod has been updated at MTS is to go to downloads/sims 3, click the drop down Filter menu, then sort by update time. This will give you a list of mods/hacks/objects by update time starting with things that were updated recently and going back to 2009 when the TS3 download section was started.

Usually when using an outdated "No Mosaic" mod, it can cause some interactions to be missing. None of the new interactions are not affected in your games?

As Lewis said an outdated decensorer causes certain effects to not be seen. You may think that it's working fine but you're probably missing some things without even knowing.

I tried the outdated No Mosaic mod and it worked but things were missing. Certain interactions in friendly, some recipes were missing and the little red sensor that lets you know where you set up booby traps was also missing. There were probably more things also hidden but these were the only things I noticed. So, it does not work perfectly.

i hope the no mosaic mod will be updated soon, for me the NRASS decensor dont work, all NRASS mod work perfectly but the Decensor no, i use actualy the NoMosaicOLS.

Thanks, I'll have a look at it. Twallens mod is all well for a generic catch all, but I prefer something that puts a complete kibosh on the censor.

I just hate the toddler on the potty when you can't see the toddler at all!!! This is about the only mod I use as the "blur" drives me crazy.

Actually, the delay on Twallan's is only 25 hundredths of a second. It's barely noticeable, so I really recommend just using his.

AwesomeMod also has a no-censor option in the config file, but, as is often the case with AM, it has some rather idiosyncratic settings that still maintain the blur for certain actions (like using the toilet).

Yes, it's been removed. I'll work my way through the creator guidelines now to offer it as a normal download. I've never done that before, but I hope it doesn't take too long.

I think it might be both. Twallan's Decensor is programmed in such a way that instead of completely removed the censor, it just disables it once it activates. That makes it more customizable, because with the Decensor, you can pick and choose during which situations do you want the censor disabled. If don't want the censor while your sims are showering, but don't want to watch them take a dump, you can do that.
