When I found out about Generation's (or the latest patch?) custom lifespan, I almost immediately thought of this challenge. I was going to do the minimal 7 days, but since one day would have to be baby, and toddler/children make it hard to achieve a goal, it's a little too short for what I had in mind. Plus having the family members die everyday would make social services possibly take the kid away if s/he hadn't aged quickly enough.
The mother has to be a young adult so somebody can for sure be there for the main child's life without social service taking him/her away. The father can be any age you want. You can choose to have more children, but they are pointless for the purpose of the challenge. The parents cannot read books to the child, help the child with homework (since it makes homework go faster, making the challenge easier), or anything that might help with your challenge.
You need to make this lifespan.
Baby: 1
Toddler: 2
Child: 3
Teen: 3
Young Adult:4
Adult: 3
Elder: 3
You can make it harder by giving more days to the toddler/child section (or even, le gasp, the baby lifespan!), but don't make it easier :P
Choose a goal that is hard to do in 13 (since baby doesn't really count) days. I'll add some suggestions as they come along (and edit unrealistic or too easy challenges), but some things I was thinking of were:
-3 or 4 skill levels maxed, depending on the skills. Use your discretion with this one, some are easier to do with day-to-day actions, while others need special time to level it up.
-Earn $25k of funds without any help by other family members. Cheat out any earning the other sims make or make them completely unemployed - or figure some other way to make the money the main sim earns different from the other sims. In this case, I would allow the toddler stage to be one day and add one to the child.
-Complete a collection, preferably one that you haven't done before or in a new world
-Make 7 masterpieces and master the art skill and one other creative skill such as writing, music, or sculpting.
-One skill maxed (I'm thinking athletic, logic or charisma are good ones here) and marry and kill (or if you're no fun, just divorce) four wives.
-Make 20 best friends and 10 friends that are not family/romantic interests
The main sim may have a job, though the challenge you choose may need to be modified to make that somewhat possible to complete the challenge :P The other sims it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't help the main sim at all.
Making your sim a vampire in order to make skill leveling easier is BAD :!: :!: :!: Unless of course you do one that isn't skill related :anime:
This challenge is limited by your imagination :)
