Whoops, I buried my homework in the sandbox!

So, I had my sim child bury her homework in the sandbox, and now I can't seem to get it back. There was a pop-up message that said she should make a treasure map so she can find it again. Is that actually possible, and if so how?

I almost buried my imaginary friend in the sandbox, but then I decided against it :lol:

I haven't actually used this feature before, but isn't there a "dig for treasure" (or something like that) interaction on the sandbox? I thought I remembered seeing that. I'm going to have to try this out!

Have your kid 'play in sandbox' or something like that. It's just the generic play action. But after a while they'll dig it back up. :) I had a kid who buried his homework several times and dug it back up before school.

And if you haven't buried anything, they'll occasionally find a toy or another item, but it's more rare than finding something they buried there themselves.
