Does Generations induce the freezing bug for anyone else?

Specifically, going abroad?

I can't for the life go to china, france or egypt simply because I freeze every 30 seconds, this is on a completely no CC install at all.

Before generations everything with fine, but ever since I have generations I've been having the bug all over the place.
