Ailena awoke with a start rubbing her head wondering why all her dreams were so weird then she looked to down to the bed below her, phew she through her sister was still a sleep. She stood up and got out of her bed and went to her desk she looking for her clock when she found it she looked surprised at the time it was 4:30am.There was the sound of reselling bed sheets behind her, she turned to see sister sitting up she looked at her rubbing her eyes "can’t sleep Ailena" she murmured "yer" said Ailena "hum at this rate you will be falling asleep in class" she laughed " haaaaa your proudly right about that Helena"
murmured Ailena she then yawned and decided to her homework, while Helena went back sleep.
She sat down at desk graded for her English book flicked through it, found the right page, picked her pen and then put it down again. Her homework was to write a profile or a very long piece of writing about her and her family for Miss Falcon who was in bad mood for last three weeks decease all her class had been fighting again. Miss falcon or miss demon as she was known as always dressed and acted like a drill sergeant. She walked in to classroom it was pitch black in there the a voice yelled at her "HOMEWORK LANSLOCK"
Ailena pulled out her book form her bag and handed it to her miss falcon smiled a rare thing " thank you lanslock" she said
the lesson only lasted for half hour well for the girls at least.

Ailena looked puzzled and followed Lucia into one the rooms.
Ailena looked around the room it looked a bit like a classroom and there round about 39 other dark elves in there reminding herself she was a dark elf, to Lucia went over to some of friends while Ailena sat at the back of classroom, then one of Lucia friend’s walked over to her and said to her " ur hello Ailena my name is Chloe and the others are Charlotte the tall blacked and white haired one, of course you know Lucia" Ailena smiled and murmured "Pis off you lying minx and for some strange reason I don't trust you" Chloe stormed off to the other side of the room. But just then suddenly a tall woman entered the room.
All of the class stood up and said "good morning Lisatia" all the class sat down. Half a hour later Ailena released that Dark elves have very different ideas than human’s about when it came to god and the way's they worshiped there god. Most of what she and the other trainee priestesses thought that their lives where better than the other woman of there people. Ailena was terrified of killing a little goat in honour of their god as Lucia raised a dagger over head, Ailena nearly passed out.
Lisatia walked over to her and murmured into her ear "you have never bone thing before, its usual girls by this time are ether passed cold on the floor or being sick all over place". Lisatia looked pleased as the sight of the goats blood running across the floor, "come girls time to try sacrificing a sheep to nor oh Ailena" she add as a over shot "Your coming with me" Lucia and the girls went off to with another priestess to sacrifice a sheep to Nor while Ailena followed Lisatia to a small room.

YOU!". she flung her sword at him it hit it's mark he fell back into the swordsmen who caught him and carried him away it took six of them to bo it.

"ATTACK MY DROTHERS, ATTACK" yelled Carzer and Shazer together. Ailena ran down to attack with the other necromancer, priests and priestesses.

What she saw shocked around her neck was a black talisman that hadn’t been there before "what's happening to me?!" she whispered looking at the talisman it seemed to de the source of the purple light she sat on the stink, she was frighten, angry and worried but she known what to do run to the woods like the mysterious voice said. She stood up and ran out of the school, down road and out of sight.
She reached the woods half a hour later, it was darker and gloomier than usual she heard the mysterious voice" good your here" she turned to see a tall young man with pale skin like hers but un like her his hair was white and his eye's where yellow like a cat's, he looked like sorcerer. "Who are you? and what do you want with me?" said Ailena the young man turned and looked at her " my name is Shazer I am dark elf and necromancer of the norcaine" said Shazer " and you Ailena is a dark elf to" Ailena was confused about this how could she be a dark elf "this stupid how could I de not human Shazer" she yelled, Shazer was slighted amused about this " look Ailena your dark elf and you need to know about your powers so that's why I came to take you back with me" said Shazer "Well what if I do not want to come with you?" said Ailena
Shazer fingered the hilt of a sword “well haa I have to fight you ‘can ....." he didn’t have a chance to finish what his was saying there was the sound and yelling of voices behind them and "look I don’t think this is" before Ailena had a chance to finish Shazer graded on to her arm and in a flash she vanished. she felt stone or marble on the ground below her then she heard voices above her “are sure Shazer that she is one of us?" "I am sure my lord Cazer" there was pause then" if she's human you what will happen" "yes I do!"
Ailena turned over mumbled "Shazer urrm" Cazer looked angry "Shazer" "yes my lord Cazer" said Shazer calmly "what did you tell her?" "we we’ll talk more about this later, but any way she's waking up" said Shazer and picked Ailena and put her over his shoulder started to walk away then Cazer spoke "wait" Shazer stopped "yes?" said Shazer " this girl is your responsibility Shazer" Shouted Cazer, Shazer smiled and walked away.
"WHERE IN THE HELL AM I" yelled Ailena sitting up in bed, there sitting on the end of bed was a young a girl "oh your awake" her face was stained with tears and her hair was dripping wet "hay what is name and what is your problem" the girl shifted and rubbed her eyes " my name is Lucia and I Shazer little sister" said Lucia " two thing's one how is your brother and two why are dressed like that?" said Ailena, Lucia giggled "why do you fancy him or something" Ailena blushed and closed her eyes " well Shazer is 13 years old and this". Lucia stood up smoothing down her skirt "is what trainee priestess of nor wears and you Ailena my friend will join me in training to as soon as possible" Ailena got up see that she was wearing a long grey nightgown. Lucia looked surprised "you don’t have any dress or know anything of dark magic but you used your powers twice. Now let's get you a new clothes and everything come on". Lucia looked at Ailena and smiled graded hold of her hand and ran.
When they were outside Ailena stopped, she looked around, Ailena realized that she was not Chasetown anymore but instead she was in a city if it was a city it looked a cross between medieval and gothic fantasy and that was just the buildings, then someone put a hand on her shoulder "this Shal the capital of are people". she turned to see Shazer "my sister a nice girl but at time excitable for a 11 year old" he stopped and looked Ailena was running to catch up Lucia she shouted over her shoulder "yes see in you in a bit Shazer".
"Now breath in please" as a dark elf pulled the longest tape measure she had ever seen Ailena was hesitant she usually went out shopping with mum when she wasn’t at work but most of the time she went ether on her own or with Helena, she breathed in now she known what was going on she was being fitted for a dress or something. it 30 minutes for him to all the fittings from the chest down and another 45 minutes for dress or whatever it was to be made. When it was finally done she into the back of shop to try it on she looked and smiled with joy was perfect for her she put on and walked back to the front of shop "woo " said Lucia "look just like one of us" she sounded very impressed.
"Um excuse me sir" said Ailena shakily " yes" he said Lucia then said "hii no need to worried Sarxer she's new to all this Sarxer" " oh I see now" murmured Sarxer pulling out a map from under the contour and speared it out on the table " now Ailena you need know about this world, the norcaine, the clans, the land, the history, religions, myths and legends, and of course the spineless light worshipers" Sarxer clinched his fists Ailena looked worried "two things, one what do you mean about by light worshipers and two what are these clothes made out of?" Sarxer didn’t say anything for a minute saying a low whisper " I will answer you second question but not the first question, the clothes are made out of a combination of silk and nylon". Lucia pushed to her toward the door and murmured as she left " he's 79 years old and a crosstie man at that, come on lets go we need to get to the temple of nor".
She ran to temple Lucia leading the way to the temple then Ailena stopped suddenly "WAIT LOCIA I WANT KNOW WHAT SARXER MENT ADOUT LIGHT WORSHIPERS!!!!!" Lucia stopped and turned she spat on the ground with disgust “light worshipers, light worshipers they bloody stupid humans, elves and dwarfs" she said and started lead Ailena to the temple of nor. as she looked at the temple she could tell that this building as very fantasy, gothic and a couple of other things. There was some writing on the walls and pictures carved in the stone " I can't read the writing it's in another language "Ailena called Lucia, she walked over and read out loud to Ailena "by the moon, stars and sun I will walk once more in Eo". Ailena looked puzzled and followed Lucia into one the rooms.
Ailena looked around the room it looked a bit like a classroom and there round about 39 other dark elves in there reminding herself she was a dark elf, to Lucia went over to some of friends while Ailena sat at the back of classroom, then one of Lucia friend’s walked over to her and said to her " ur hello Ailena my name is Chloe and the others are Charlotte the tall blacked and white haired one, of course you know Lucia" Ailena smiled and murmured "Pis off you lying minx and for some strange reason I don't trust you" Chloe stormed off to the other side of the room. But just then suddenly a tall woman entered the room.
All of the class stood up and said "good morning Lisatia" all the class sat down. Half a hour later Ailena released that Dark elves have very different ideas than human’s about when it came to god and the way's they worshiped there god. Most of what she and the other trainee priestesses thought that their lives where better than the other woman of there people. Ailena was terrified of killing a little goat in honour of their god as Lucia raised a dagger over head, Ailena nearly passed out.
Lisatia walked over to her and murmured into her ear "you have never bone thing before, its usual girls by this time are ether passed cold on the floor or being sick all over place". Lisatia looked pleased as the sight of the goats blood running across the floor, "come girls time to try sacrificing a sheep to nor oh Ailena" she add as a over shot "Your coming with me" Lucia and the girls went off to with another priestess to sacrifice a sheep to Nor while Ailena followed Lisatia to a small room.
"Now Ailena I will teach you personally how to de both a priestess of nor and a dark elf" Ailena was shocked that she was getting private teaching Ailena smiled and closed eyes "thank you" said Ailena, Lisatia smiled and sat down decide Ailena and said "now for your lesson I well teach the basics of elfish" Ailena looked confused "what's elfish Lisatia?" she asked "elfish is language of all the elves, now let us deign". Ailena began the job of learning elfish.
Hours later Ailena returned to her bedroom which she was sharing with Lucia. Lucia was sitting on the bed she most have waited ages for her to come back thought Ailena as she sat on bed decide Lucia, "I wanted to talk to you" murmured to Ailena "oh" said Ailena, Lucia turned to face her "what's your world like Ailena?" asked Lucia to Ailena "oh urm it's burl compared to your world there's magic and all sorts here un like my world where the idiots in parliament spend their magic on second houses and buck house" she stopped to Ailena had burst into tears "my brother hasn’t told has he?" sobbed Lucia. Ailena didn’t say anything decease she did not know what she meant.
"do you have any family Ailena?" said Lucia wiping her eyes, Ailena grunted and the corrected herself "ooh um yes I I I do" Lucia smiled friendly at her said "what are they like?" asked Lucia "I have a sister Helena she ' 17 years old, my bad has gone to fight in the war" Lucia chuckled a tiny bit then fell slight “now where was I are yes my family, while my mum work's Birmingham which is city filled with humans" she stopped suddenly surprised what she had said about who she had thought where her kin for all life then stopped herself from thinking about and what Shazer said earlier.
Then a pillow hit on the side of her head Lucia had a pillow in her hands Ailena grinned with happiness and graded a pillow herself."PILLOW FIGHT!!" yelled Lucia and jumped backwards. Outside the door listening in to all this was Shazer and Cazer, Shazer smiled faintly while Cazer looked irritable "Shazer" said Cazer "yes my lord" answered Shazer, Cazer looked more irritable then told Shazer "Ailena has one month to prove herself to be a dark elf and trainee priestess but if she was not up to this she will she die and you know what will happen to you if you fail me now". Shazer stopped smiled looked sad but he didn’t show it "of course ". Cazer smiled evilly, he and Shazer walked away.
Ailena was amazed to find out that she had been in Shal for two weeks and half, she had learned a lot about being a bark elf or as her people were also known as the norcaine. She started to get dressed when realized that she could'nt find clothes and started look for her clothes on top of wardrobe and even under the very soft feather mattress but her clothes won't there, Then Ailena looked under the bed they where along with her school bag she pulled them both out instead of getting dressed she tripped up on her bag and the contest which fill on to the floor she knelt and pulled several items. A broken pen, a tissue and her homework for maths were just a few of the items that useless to her now but there were a couple of useful items like.
Her purse, a notebook and the most important she had found her box folder which had pictures with all things she liked the most mainly Vampiress and gothic pictures. She opened it up she looked though it to make sure everything was in there and to make even better it looked like none of her kin had looked though it which she was happy about then she took off her nightdress and held at arm’s length.
The nightdress was black with sliver patterns, it went to her feet. She then put it down and looked at her trainee priestess dress it was long dress with the top part of the dress black and the bottom bark red with black patterns on it. Then she looked at a clock on the wall she then yelled at the top of her voice "OH SHIT I'M LATE" she graded her clothes and put them on then she put her boots and ran to the temple as fast as she can.
When she reached the temple she ran though most of the temple then stopped when she saw Shazer knelling by a sacrificial alter it looked he was praying to nor, she went over to him he didn’t turn to face her but said "may Nor's shadow protect us Ailena" Ailena looked puzzled and then walked away then ran to a door she burst the boor open which lead into Lisatia's room, she grasped "sorrrrrry .... I huuu mmmm late" Lisatia looked glad to see her " you here that’s the main thing now sit down" Ailena sat down, compared to the lessons she had before all this learn the ways of darkness and black magic was more fun than maths or English or any other lessons she had or rather what she used to have.
Lisatia then stood up and walked to the boor when she noticed that Ailena was not behind her she said "come on I've taught all I can in are ways now it's time for full on priestess training!" Ailena stood up and followed her out of the room into another which had a bookcase, a stature to nor and a small sacrificial altar. "who is Nor?" asked Ailena to Lisatia she amazed by the question " Nor is are god will one of them we do have a goddess Narie most of our kin worship Nor but to answer your question Nor is the god of the night and black magic I will explain more about this some other time" Ailena looked confused "but Nor does not exist" said Ailena quiet suddenly.
Lisatia looked right at her anger blazing in her eyes as Ailena watched her mentor she was amazed to see a thin strip of purple light appear in her hand and as suddenly as at came is faded to revel a staff Lisatia swung the staff back and bought down hard on her back then shouted " DOE'S NOT EXIST YOU A STUPID TO THINK SO HAVE'NT YOU HEARD ARE LEGENDS ABOUT HIM" Ailena was quiet cross herself her back hurt like hell, rubbing her saying a snarl "No!!" Lisatia was seemed to be calming down sit on the sacrificial altar while Ailena sat down on the floor Lisatia said " I will one of our most popular legends about how the bark gods were banished and don’t interrupt me as tell you this legend".
"Nor was born over 1000 years ago, he is first of are race and proudly one of the darkest. For many years he lived in peace with first of are kind then he went on rampage of death and attacking the last vampires of our world and the early light races. In those years the gods walked over the lands so the light gods joined together to defeat the dark gods and this is one of the few times they ever all joined together against us. The gods fought for 6 long months and in the last battle, Anior wounded nor in the side gravely wounded nor fled into the night with narir behind him. he fled to the caves of Narica where he hoped to heal so can destroy but Anior found him and took him to the black rock of Shaczer. Together with Elen, Shana, Tara and Noun, Anior banished nor along with the other dark gods" Ailena was amazed by everything that Lisatia had told her.
Ailena was walking back home when a voice came out of a alley way which she was passing
"hay Ailena over here quick" she went over to where the voice was coming from, when she entered the alley way no one was there then something touched her on shoulder "Hey Ailena" sneered Chloe. Chloe was wearing a disguise she wasn’t a dark elf no she was human! " YOUR HUMEN"! yelled Ailena, Chloe darted forward and put one hand over her mouth "yes I'm human" said Chloe make sure that her hand was firmly over Ailena's mouth " for information he was here on business" snarled Chloe, Ailena was having big problems in that she was having trouble breathing she could still manage speech " what .... Business human!" gasped Ailena, Chloe laughed loudly at this “haaa ha you really don’t know". Ailena shock her head "no I'll tell you I am an assassin" Chloe shouted this for all the world but she had removed her hand from Ailena's mouth.
"HUMEN!!!, HUMEN!!!" yelled Ailena she heard
‘something was it the sound of death or help she did not know but she could see Chloe was looking both worried and angry at her "you foul they will betray you liked they did to me, I was once a dark elf to until I saw the future and what will happen, a war will come it will destroy you all and we humans shall be the masters of this world ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaa"! Ailena was not happy a tall "you lie" bellowed Ailena. Then Shazer came sword brawn with 100 swordsmen and 7 necromancers "who have you came for" asked Shazer, Chloe didn’t answer "who have you came for" repeated Shazer. Chloe pulled out a short sword from under her brass " your father Shazer and ... YOU!". she flung her sword at him it hit it's mark he fell back into the swordsmen who caught him and carried him away it took six of them to bo it.
Ailena picked up Shazer’s sword which had fallen to ground "oi Chloe" snarled Ailena, a voice whispered into her ear "shall we attack now" asked one of the swordsmen "not yet". “I know you Chloe" Chloe looked confused but ready for a attack "I mean I know your type snotty, annoying and mean person who is proudly a very spoilt brat so urrrrrm DIE"! she swung the sword in a ark which bid hit Chloe but Chloe punched knocking her back a couple of steps "now you can" Ailena bid not
finish what she was saying when the swordsmen came charging at Chloe jumped on to a wall and climbed up on to the roof top "Quiet the little shadow witch aren’t you and we will meet again then you will pay Ailena" Ailena replayed with shot of black lighting " Ha I'd like see you try light worshiper" shouted Ailena as Chloe ran off a cross the roof tops while thinking I must learn how to do that.
When she got back to see Lucia and to know that Shazer was ok. when arrived at the palace, Carzer was outside waiting for her "so how is he" asked Ailena, Carzer seemed angry with her "drop down bead light worshiper" said Carzer. Ailena went right past him muttered at him "so what human". Ailena was unhappy she angered someone who she did not know. Lucia was standing on a staircase "how is he?" asked Ailena, Lucia rubbed the back of her neck then answered Ailena as she walked up the stairs towards her "he will live but father is not happy" Ailena was looking at her in amazement "that ur dark elf outside ur who is" Lucia shrugged looking quiet calm then she said "his name is Carzer he is lord of Dragh lur and mine and Shazer's father" Ailena was amazed well even more than earlier
“wait urrrr ummm" Ailena muttered and decided it was time for some sleep. When she reached the room with see shared Lucia she changed into nightdress and climbed into bed and instantly fell asleep.
It had been nearly a month since she had come Dragh lur. Ailena was shaken awake by Shazer "awake Ailena" ordered Shazer, Ailena sat up and rubbed her eyes "arrr what do you want?" Shazer handed over sword, some armour and combat staff. "Urr what's all this for?" asked Ailena, Shazer laughed "haa ha to fight of course" as Ailena put on her armour and draped her sword to her back with some help Shazer, she was nearly ready to depart, she needed to pick up her staff then she was ready. she murmured "why do I need all of this" as she looked at Shazer who was also dressed in his armour "why deacuse we are under attack that’s why" Ailena was now fully dressed and fully armoured then she ran down stairs Shazer behind she jumped off stairs and kept running until she was outside when arrow went right over her head and imbedded itself in the wall. "ATTACK MY DROTHERS, ATTACK" yelled Carzer and Shazer together. Ailena ran down to attack with the other necromancer, priests and priestesses.
She hit, slashed and stabbed to her surprise she was killing them she heard a yell " FOOLISH HUMENS THEY CAN NOT WIN HERE" but then she heard a above the cry above all the sounds of battle "HELP ME". Ailena fought her way through to where the cries where coming from. Carzer was pinned to the ground by 5 humans "die" said one of them as raised his sword above his head preparing to strike. Ailena ran forward drawing her sword outstanding through the human’s heart he collapsed dead then she realised who she had saved "Carzer are you alright" asked Ailena while helping him up Carzer rubbed his head and muttered "I fine they took me suspire that's all and I owe you" Ailena and Carzer charged back into battle.
It lasted six hours in which the humans where losing this battle. "LOOK" shouted Shazer
"THEY ARE RUNNING AWAY". They all cheered in triumph they had won the battle but Ailena knew that there was more to come. She looked over the city knowing that her sister would know that she was in trouble. She said not really caring who heard her “I vow that I will protect and survive the lords of the norcaine to my dying breath”. She turned to Shazer and asked him “so let’s see what we can do to make are kingdom?” Shazer grinned and cheered raising his sword into the air. All the other’s cheered and Ailena joined in, then Shazer headed in to his palace and Ailena said “good bye sis I will see you again” as she followed Shazer into the palace.
