Since I installed Generations my sims just keep cheering like they won a game or something whenever they have a free moment (no given task or even when waiting for the elevator), even when I tell them to do something, they cheere for awhile before it especially if it involves changing clothes in which case they cheer and write in the air before doing so most of the time.
It's really annoying, because it's boring to watch and listen to the same thing over and over and over again, and because it takes away a lot of time from the simday.
Even the town people (inactive) cheer all the time when they are in the park or any community lot. They just stand and cheer for hours only doing anything else when they react to the active sim (like when he/she plays guitar or wants to play chess with them or something.

Is this normal? (If it is,is there any mod out there to stop it?)
If not what could be the problem?

(I tried different lots, neighbourhoods, and tried removing my mods too)

Your sims are constantly cheering because they're always in an extremely elated mood. Mostly due to the way that EA has made it extremely easy to almost permanently have an amazing mood because of easy to get moodlets that give huge bonuses and last for hours, sometimes even days.

You can try either the "Hardermoodtuning" part of Mood Hotifx:

Or if it still works you can go with Hard to Please Sims:

Try opening the console : Ctrl+Shift+C and then type: resetSim *
This will reset all sims in your neightbourhood...try it.

Resetting sims isn't going to help permanently if the problem is that they are happy. And constantly resetting your entire neighborhood can't be good for it.

Sorry it took so long but I had some RL problems lately too... anyway, it does seems to be because they are too happy. The Hard to Please mod causes my game to crash, and I'm still testing which of the other to use but it seems to help, so thanks so much for the help.
