I am having an issue where after awhile, my sims who wear glasses or the Bon Voyage brows will get this 'see through' look to the accessory. I don't have a picture of the brows, but it basically looks like two rectangular holes where the brows are and the brow texture is overlaying it. It's very odd. I've never had this before. The only thing that fixes it is moving the sim out of his house (or dorm) and moving him back in. But the problem comes right back after some time.

OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5670
RAM: 12288MB

This issue is happening in a 'duplicated' neighborhood. Meaning I copied the folder of another hood and renamed all of the files to a different number. I also deleted all of the files in the Characters folders. Could this have anything to do with it? I haven't tested any other hood.

Also, Pescado at MATY says that it isn't safe to have two copies of the same neighborhood available at the same time. So, you may have destroyed both neighborhoods.

On the other hand, that particular symptom doesn't sound like a problem that's usually associated with having a corrupt neighborhood.

Did you do the Game_Help:Game_Problem FAQ? Following that FAQ should help you to answer your own question about whether this is a problem with your neighborhoods or not.

I deleted the neighborhood I cloned this one from (I didn't want it anymore) so no worries on that hood.
I think it is possible my hood is corrupted. I've had a few crashes while loading families which I normally never get when I first made the hood, but none recently.
I will attempt the link you gave me. If my hood is corrupted I'll probably still keep it though since it functions enough for me to enjoy and I put a lot of work into it. When I can't take it anymore I'll delete it. :P

I highly doubt it's my system specs as my computer is pretty new.

EDIT: I can't really figure out the problem, so it's probably corrupted or a glitch. I think only young adults in dorms are effected by this problem since every time I took my custom majors out the problem would go away, but the problem persisted when I kept them in. I also tested with the undeclared major and the glasses were still messed up. Probably when my sims get out of college they'll be fine. Then again I went to another hood and the glasses were find so it's probably corrupted. Ah well, I can live with it.
