Hi there!

I know that this is not the right place to post, but I couldn't find a place that my problem fits more. Sorry!

As some of you may already know that I'm working on a new downtown at the moment. And I changed my mind about a few things in my downtown.

# 1) I want to make it in an another map from the one I have chosen.

# 2) I want to the map to be "concrete"

PROBLEM:

1) Unfortunately, I have to create this map in SimsCity4, and I can't do that before September. :)

2) I want the map to be "concrete" but the existant neighborhood's map is "lush"

QUESTION:

If I want the above options for my neighborhood, do I have to rebuild the lots?

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

steps:

1) Move the lots in the lot bin
2) Make another Subhood ( this time with the "conreate" option selected, but still not using the official terrain)
3) Place the lots in the new subhood
4) Continue with the building, and finish with all lots
5) Package all lots
6) Create the new map
7) Make the "new_map" a Subhood.Place lots and finish decorating.
8) Upload

Is the above possible, or what problems it will have?

If I want the above options for my neighborhood, do I have to rebuild the lots? No, you should not need to rebuild the lots. They will usually pick up the default terrain from the neighborhood when placed.

That sounds quite reasonable. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.

That's good! I was just worrying weather this method would work!
