Mac unpac won't unpac?

I downloaded mac unpac cause it seemed like a great program. But when I click "load sims2pack file" and then the pack I want, nothing pops up in the box thingy.. should it? Is this normal? its acting like i'm not clicking anything! :cry:

This is completely unhelpful, but I have the exact same issue and actually posted something very similar (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=439992) to this a few months ago. No one seems to know why this is happening.

I would suggest you find someone with a PC and just use the Clean Installer. Put the Sims2Pack you want opened onto a USB key to transfer your files, then just have the Clean Installer extract the package files back to your key. When you return to your Mac, drop the package files into your downloads. A pain the butt (I know, BELIEVE ME), but it's the only solution right now, apparently :(

I actually found the "sims 2 woohoo installer" it's a LIFE SAVER!!!!!!
It makes backups of my game, installs files and tells me (innaccuratly, but I'm not greedy) what files are corrupt!
I love it! :)
