okay so i will really need your help for a couple of things but one is the most important.i will ask all of my questions in this thread because only one is bigg and the other ones are just small ones taht dont need an indivdiul thread.

1.Sowhen i move a family in a house I am able to have only 8 residents.i know thee is a hack that allows you to have more but even with the hack I cant merge the two families if the number is above 8.So i have a question. How can i make the two sepret families in one housheld ???I know you can do that with the tomstone of L&D and then go to add family member but it takes me a lot of time to add all the members. So is there aonther cheat or hack that can help me with this?
2.Is deleting clothing from download folder safe?

1. Use a userstartup.cheat to allow families of more than 8 on a lot, and to allow you to combine them from neighborhood view. Instructions here: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Userstartup.cheat#How_do_I_make_a_Userstartup.cheat_file.3F
2. Yes, with a very specific exception: don't delete any of the clothing that came with the game. There are mods that will place a CC star by clothing that came with the game, allowing you to delete them. Don't do it. But any clothing that you downloaded is safe to delete, either in-game or directly from the Downloads folder.

The only thing to add to the clothing thing is that if you delete in game CC clothing that came with a new mesh, the game will not delete the mesh. You have to do that manually. If you don't know what the mesh is called, that can be a pain to find. This is one of the reasons I organise my Downloads folder into a strict archive of files and folders putting the textures of skins in a folder with the relevant mesh. There are programmes out there that try to identify when a mesh has been orphaned because you've deleted all its linked textures. Unfortunately, non of them do a 100% accurate job of identifying said orphaned meshes. My personal solution is to delete manually and test if I am not sure but that is a fiddle and you may not want to do it. Deleting CC textures for EAxis meshes is always ok though.
