hello all. so after playing the sims for about a year i've learned a few things: the secret lot in belladonna cove IS attainable, never re-uploaded mods, the sims 2 store is gone forever, and will wright had nothin to do with the sims 3. Another thing I've come across is how Bella Goth can be brought back to life but only for as long as u dont leave the goth house after getting her.
I think you all know what I'm talking about: the tombstone of L and D. So yes that's how every one says to get her back, but after a few experimental doings of mine in the sims 2 via the inSiminator, I really brought her back. No it isn't impossible and every one already knows the first step!
Yep that's right, use the tombstone of life and death to bring her back then let her disappear again. but once she's gone just use the Morality adjuster of the imSim and resurrect her again and she's there to stay.
Am I the only one who's tried this? Because's it's worked fine for me. Now if i could just figure out what to do with her and her wacko family...

I always do this in every sims game. :D

Bella Goth became so normal for me. I sometimes kill her just for fun. I couldn't imagine myself doing that a few years ago when I thought aliens killed her. LOL

same here, but i usually kill her off from old age so money can be inherited. although it is still a fake bella but not the strangetown bella, i can tell because she has no memories. I read something somewhere that said she was deleted from the sims 2 files my the creators and no one could fix it so... yeah. getting the real bella back has proved impossible but this method is better i think than moving strangetown bella to pleasantview.

i used the summoner by Cassandra and she summoned Bella, then Mortimer added her to the family by simblender, then i adjusted the realtionships and everything and broke up Mortimer with Dina, not every gold-digger can get what they want! i went N'hood view and clicked on the Goth house to see from the picture if Bella is still there and she is!

yeah i noticed from other forums and sites that the simsPE was another way to get her back but im just too scared to download it to my computer. I mean what if it makes it crash or something.
Also Bella does make great looking kids and cassandra as well. but in my game i killed bella from old age because im not really a fan of romance sims. its too much work

kimpossible18 - Using SimPE isn't going to break your computer in any way. It also can't break your game as long as you back up your saves first - anything you do mess up that way, you can always restore and have it just like it was.

The reason why the Strangetown Bella doesn't have any memories/family ties is because there is no way for sims to use data from other neighborhoods. Her family tree would have to show a static "dead" grayed-out image of Mortimer, Cassandra, and Alex and, even if it did, it wouldn't reflect any growth the family experiences in their native Pleasantview.

Besides, she was abducted by aliens and dumped far away in a very strange town: it makes sense for Bella to be experiencing missing time and lost memories :)

I just installed a cleaned up version of Pleasantville (http://www.mediafire.com/?dvntyo1mw3x) after reading this tutorial (http://simgaroop.dreamwidth.org/36499.html) and it came with a fully restored Bella Goth with all of her memories. Now I don't know what to do with her. I've been going through the neighborhood starting out with the story lines suggested by Maxis, where Mortimer fulfills Dina's wish by marrying her. He had to divorce Bella to do that, which really upset Alexander. I felt bad about that. She keeps going by Mortimer's new home and stealing his paper. Mortimer and Bella have talked a few times and fell in love again. So, life is complicated. Dina was upset by the burglary of her home on her wedding day and became obsessed with the thief. She wanted to punish him and sent him some nasty emails. But he was nice and funny and she started to wonder what kind of life leads to crime. They started chatting over the internet and she found herself playing the role of reformer, not that he really reformed. Her obsession with punishing the thief slowly turned into an obsession with the man himself and she developed a crush on him. When he was released from jail, he came over and they started an affair. Dina is enjoying Mortimer's money, but ultimately, he's not that important to her. I think after she gets pregnant from the affair, she'll discover the truth about Mortimer and Bella and will send Mortimer packing. Then Mortimer can move in with Bella. Of course, Mortimer is quite old and won't be around much longer and Bella is young, so her story will go on for a while.

As I've said in another thread, all I do is delete the death token in SimPE, use the SimBlender to "teleport" her in and adjust her relationships with her husband and children. I also make sure that she's a few days from Elder (makes sense).

And of course I wind up honking Dina Caliente off in the process....
