Question about The Sims 3 Generations

Hello Everbody this is my first thread for me and i would be happy if u help me
okay here's the thing I just finished installing sims 3 gen
the problem is the Cd space itself is 4.94 GB
when I installed it Going to game folder where was I installed It tell me that game siZe is 976 MB For Real Are U kidding me

Note
I have sims 3 base game patched 1.24.3
sims 3 Wa 2.17.2
sims 3 Ambition 4.7.4
sims 3 Nightlife 6.5.1
So all up to date
Sims 3 gen 8.0.1 didnt patch it yet
The game is working fine
but I'm pretty Worry cuz I check'd some website about game requirments and it said
2.5 GB of hard drive space and at least 1 GB for custom content
so pleaaase I need help
where is the 3 GB gone !!!
