If you ever heard of Electronic Dance Music festivals like, Electric daisy carnival, or electric zoo, etc. You might of thought... "HEY! I would like to attend/throw one of these festivals."
Well Here it is. the "Rave Challenge".
What you need:
-Sims 2 night life
-rave clothing, search the download sections the find some.
-Sims 2 university (optional)
Step 1
Open a clean new neighbourhood, make about... 3 to 6 families of 8 Sims full of ravers, (they tend to wear bright colours)
Next, create the family the "host" family, about 2 to 3 people,
these could be the DJ(s), bartender, etc.
place them in a small to medium lot, make the venue, decide if it is outdoor or indoor, I usually design outdoor ones :P
tips:
-have a stage with some room for two DJ tables, customize the stage to fit the festivals theme.
-Put the fruit punch pineapple, in university. the ravers well not get thirsty because they can grab what ever they want when they want.
-make a bar but make it so nobody else can get in, only the bartender.
-boarder the venue with a high fence, or columns.
-boarder the stage with a low fence, like the playground fence on “Apartment life”.
Throwing the festival:
This is the tricky part, put in the cheat code "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and place a phone behind the bar,
then put "move_objects on" and place the mailbox in front of the stage, place the trash can where ever.
hold shift and click on the mailbox go to “neighbourhood/make me know everybody” then neighbourhood/ make friends for me” then shift + click on a sim and click “spawn/more/sim modder” and baby should appear standing on the ground, click on the baby and go “skills everyone/ max” this should max out all the skills, then do it again but “personality, everyone, max” this well make the host friendly which you need.
Once your ready, click on the phone and throw a party, pick two people that you didn’t make, like two townies. When the message pops up about the party Shift + click on the mailbox and click “neighbourhood, invite everyone” you know it’ll work because the game well lag for a couple seconds. You don’t need to greet anyone they’ll just head to the front of the stage. (Make sure the DJs are up there)
If there is a “concert mod” out there tell me, The sims well just go up on the stage to dance, there might be a mod where the person might dance in front of the stage, just go into buy mode and put the sim in front of the stage, do this until mostly everyone is dancing and TA-DA! You are throwing a massive festival.
Feed back and suggestion are welcome. Try to make this realistic. I need all the help I can get :D.
