View Full Version : Does CAW erase pets imported into worlds?

I imported a bunch of families into a CAW project using Twallan's Porter. I saved the world. Later I came back to it, and while the families remained, their pets had been totally wiped from existence. Is this a "feature"?

Do they import correctly with porter to a new world in-game? Just wondering whether it's a problem with Porter, or CAW.

Seem to import fine. I'll have a better look. I've done a bit of digging, and they're not totally deleted, they're just made dead out-of-towners. :/

I tried unpacking families which included pets, which would work fine as long as I kept the game paused (This was in-game, by the way). As soon as I would resume the time I'd get a pop-up message saying something about a script error for the pets.
The pets would either disappear or be standing near the lot entirely motionless and unable to be interacted with in any way.
I did update the porter mod, so unless I'm doing something wrong it seems that porter doesn't work for pets yet :\
