The happy non-venting thread

This is basically the opposite of the venting thread. Tell about something awesome that happened to you, someone you know, or a random person. Or something inspirational, funny or cute.

Today I found out that my church (Presbyterian Church U.S.A) ordained it's first gay minister a few weeks ago. I'm so happy that they've removed the obstacles of that happening and I hope that other religions will follow.

t'was my birthday today. i pigged out at the olive garden, drank half my weight in alcohol, and passed out at home for the best nap ive had in years. and *gleeful sim-like clapping* i still have leftovers to devour! (my brothers also called and wished me happy birthday, which i thought was kind of them since i wouldnt have been offended if they hadnt.)

Maybe I can just be too easily amused at times, but (since I live in Missouri, and hear about it all the time) the whole craze over the Rally (http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/10/21/3461076/rangers-journal-st-louis-goes.html) Squirrel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsQYS5zS5u4) thing. I don't really get the appeal myself, I just find it interesting how crazy people are going over it here. To the point that someone even made a Twitter for the damn thing. (http://twitter.com/#!/BuschSquirrel) It just kind of makes it look like the sports fans here are very easily impressed or amused; "I heard that some of the new secondary mascots that are being considered for the Cardinals' 2012 season to replace 'Rally Squirrel' are 'Car Keys' and 'Shiny!'" My friend surprised me with concert tickets today and I just finished my Halloween costume (not that it was that hard, I'm going as Tobias Funke in blue man garb [with never nude shorts] in celebration of the new season... but I'm a girl so I'm not sure how well-received it will be). Bring it on Halloween!

Watching this awesome new looney tunes show. It's actually entertaining and got a few genuine laughs out of me. It's like a sitcom but it's still got all the quirks of an animated show.


And I'm mostly done with buying my halloween decor; all I need is a fog machine.

My dog (in TS3 Pets, which I'm currently obsessed with) gave birth to an oh-so-adorable puppy! I love this game!

Also, yes, Halloween. I've helped my sister carve a pumpkin into a Jack-o-Lantern and it was really fun.

Bought myself a new dildo today. 46 days until Christmas, and I can't wait for all the alcohol-related fistfights. Who's gonna win this year? Not me. I've been a naughty boy (ask my cat) so I'm not expecting the first gift on the list: night vision goggles. I've been touching myself recently. Perhaps that's why I got the promotion yesterday.

What more can I say?

Bought an XBOX 360 and Forza 4 on Friday. Played it the entire weekend and after school today. It's a brilliant game! Had a fairly good day at school today, not exciting, but I told some jokes, made some people laugh. That's always satisfying. Parent teacher conferences were tonight. My parents told me the teachers had nothing but good things to say about me. Only have a little bit of Math to do tonight. :D
