"Disable autonomy for selected sim or pet"

Is this feature broken? It's enabled in my game but my selected sim still seems to do what he wants. It sucks because it would be a great feature. :(

It seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes it works for me, but the times it doesn't work it won't work at all until I save and exit.

I hope the patch will fix it. That's lame :(
