Anyone built a dinosaur yet?

I was just wondering if anyone has succeeded in finding all the dino bones and building the skeleton yet. I have an archological sim who is trying to find them all to add to his relic collection, and was wondering if any one else has done it yet.

I haven't finished collecting any of those things yet :( I have 2 of the 3 part for Our Friend Freddy or whatever but I still haven't constructed anything.
I really look forward to it ~ They seem fun.

Nope, but I have had all the parts of the sim-skeleton , looks rather good constructed. Ideal for many sim-setting imo

?? Really? I've been busy running horses around.. I didn't know you could collect and build dinos! thanks! I saw some bones up behind the criminals hangout. I thought they were just decoration.

Yeah, your dog can somtimes find them while digging. its kinda fun!

I'm not playing in Appaloosa Plains, I'll continue in the world I am, adding Pets' community lots to it. My question is, am I ever going to find these new collection pieces there? Or are they in specific digging sites only in Appaloosa?

So long as the dog is doing a general sniffing/hunting, I think there's a chance for the collection pieces to show up regardless of what neighborhood you're in. The items don't appear to be seeded, just based on chance when hunting.

How come folks are getting dinosaurs and diamond dogs, and all I've gotten (well, the dog has) were 2 stone hydrants?? (Maybe having the dog do the digging work is not the best approach :blink: )

Thanks Attercap. I thought there were "bone digging" places like the WA digging sites, that have to be placed by the creator of the world, or using buydebug. Thanks again!

My dog found all of them in China, and he wasn't even supposed to be there, so it's safe to say you can find them anywhere.

Ooh, that's kinda cool. Maybe someone could eventually make it so that dead sims turn into those, making options to have those instead of gravestones/urns and you could bury them. Like all CSI-ish. Either way neat xD
