I'm not computer savvy. I copied and pasted my system specs into your template, but that's as far as I got. I believe it said you could determine if my computer can handle sims3 pets. As of now, I can play the game until I try to do anything that involves a horse, such as adopt, buy, or choose a household with a horse. Then the game stops and the screen begins to flash dim, bright, dim, bright. I have done the following: uninstall and reinstall, defrag my hard drive, install and uninstall origen. Of course if my computer is inadequate, that is the answer. Thanks so much for your help.

Doesn't look like it. The Quadro series is not supported at all for graphics for TS3, and while it looks like that was a good laptop at the time of its manufacture, it's definitely showing its age. From what I can find, the performance of that card can be considered roughly equivalent to a 7900 (mobile edition), which is well outdated at this point - the fact that it's -not- a 7900 but a Quadro 2500M means that it's likely an unsupported/aged graphics issue, especially with the symptoms you report.

Many thanks for your quick reply. I guess there'll be no sims3 pets for me.
